WHAT TO BRING

How to prepare for your experience on the water.

MAKE YOUR DAY THE BEST IT CAN BE!

The most accurate prediction we can make about the weather in Nova Scotia is that it's often changing. While the weather is often warm and clear, especially on land, we can encounter breeze and fog at sea. Best to come prepared.

CLOTHING

It is very possible to experience a variety of weather conditions. The best advice is to dress in layers. Also, if possible, take along some rain gear. We usually have a few sets onboard, but you should be prepared for anything. Don't wear your Sunday best - Fishing can be a messy sport, so be prepared in this regard as well.

WASHROOM FACILITIES & A NOTE ON MANAGING SEA SICKNESS

Our vessel is equipped with full washroom facilities, shower, hot/cold sink toiletries, towels etc.

It is our experience that sea sickness, although in some cases inevitable, can often be avoided. Our advice is preventative; Read Here to learn about what you can do ahead of time to lessen the likelihood of being sick.

Of course there are those who will be sick, no matter what. But for many - a pinch of prevention can be worth a great day on the water!
